Our Story

Preparing a 1963 Porsche 356 B for metal work and restoration.

In the rolling hills of eastern Ohio, where back roads twist past forgotten barns and the air smells faintly of motor oil and endless possibility, a love for cars took root generations ago. It all started in a tiny one-car garage—barely room for a workbench, a floor jack, and big dreams. That’s where a grandfather taught his son how to turn a wrench, listen to an engine’s heartbeat, and breathe life back into old steel. What began as weekend tinkering and late-night tales of legendary machines grew into a family tradition, passed down like a treasured heirloom.

Today, that same fire burns bright at Selders Customs, a humble father-and-son shop built on those exact values. Porsches and classic trucks that deserve to be driven, not just polished and parked. Every build is personal. Every detail matters.

We’re not a factory or big corporate shop. We’re just two generations under one roof, turning wrenches the old-school way: with patience, pride, and the quiet understanding that the best restorations aren’t about making something shiny and new—they’re about making it right again. The way a father once showed his son in that little eastern Ohio garage, we keep passing that love forward—one bolt, one brushstroke, one perfectly tuned engine at a time.

Selders Customs isn’t just a business. It’s a rolling legacy. And if you’ve got a vintage Porsche or classic truck that’s been waiting for its next chapter, we’d love to help write it with you.
